Week 38 Summary of route trends about Tianjin Safround Logistics

2025.09.12

Freight rates on the North-South America route remained at the same level as in the first half of the month on the 15th, with the possibility of a slight decrease. Some carriers entered a stockpiling phase before the holiday, and all routes are open for cargo.

  1. The Europe-Pacific market continues to see demand, with the downward trend in freight rates extending into early October. All pre-holiday sailings are open for cargo. Multiple containers with confirmed orders may apply for additional rates. MSC Suxi CCA is prioritized. Due to the National Day holiday, carriers have announced some blank sailings in early October. There are still many delays in sailing dates in the near future, so please monitor individual vessel departure information. There may be varying degrees of congestion at the destination port, leading to delays in docking and transit.
  2. The Middle East Red Sea market is currently in a downturn, and coupled with pre-holiday stockpiling, there is a strong demand for cargo. Loading is paramount, so please contact us promptly if you have any questions about freight rates.
  3. As the National Day holiday approaches, all shipowners have begun stockpiling. Freight rates in the India-Pakistan market are expected to continue their downward trend in late September. Space is open, primarily for cargo, and special rates are available for large orders. Bangladesh routes are expected to remain largely unchanged, with textiles being prioritized. Yiwu Suxi CCA cargo is also prioritized. Please contact us individually.
  4. Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand are stockpiling goods before the holidays. Next week will be primarily focused on ordering. Due to general market feedback, freight rates are expected to remain largely unchanged. Freight rates for Singapore and Malaysia are expected to decline in the second half of the month. Yiwu Suxi sea-rail routes are also being promoted. If you have cargo, please apply for special offers.
  5. Africa routes: East African freight rates will remain largely unchanged, with an increase expected after the 20th. The CMA vessel, originally scheduled for the 19th, will now continue to call at Ningbo. Bookings are welcome. RCL space in the same group remains tight, so confirm space in advance for confirmed orders. South African freight rates have declined slightly, but light cargo is still the primary focus. West African freight rates remain largely unchanged. New MSC routes are available for booking, as space is relatively ample. We are actively promoting the Suxi sea-rail route. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
  6. Latin America routes: Freight rates in South America and West Mexico continue to decline. Mexican shipping companies are seeking cargo, so please actively follow up. Central American space remains tight in the near future. Please confirm shipments in advance; Caribbean freight rates have slightly decreased; prices in the eastern South America region have failed to increase, and freight rates are now falling. Please actively promote the development of the Suxi sea-rail business, and actively negotiate freight rates.
