Week 33 Summary of route trends about Tianjin Safround Logistics
2025.08.12
Freight rates on the North-US and Canada routes continue to decline and are expected to remain so. All routes are open for orders, primarily for small-lot cargoes. Large-volume cargoes can be negotiated individually.
Freight rates on the Europe-Europe route continued to decline in late August, and all shipping companies are actively seeking cargo. For multiple containers, please apply for additional shipping. Some sailings are unavailable in the second half of the month, and there are also extra sailings on the Europe route. For cargo shipped near Jinhua, please consider using the Suxi CCA service. There are still many delays in sailing departures in the near future, so please monitor individual vessel departure information. Delays may occur at ports of call and at technical secondary schools due to varying degrees of congestion at the destination port.
Due to a blank sailing next week and reduced capacity on the Middle East route, coupled with overbooking and unloading of containers by shipowners this week, fresh shipping space will be scarce next week, leading to a significant increase in freight rates. With two fewer direct vessels on the Red Sea route, freight rates are expected to continue to rise amidst reduced capacity. For cargo on the Middle East and Red Sea routes, it is recommended to book space as soon as possible. Please confirm separately before booking.
Freight rates in the India-Pakistan market will rise significantly in mid-to-late August, and space will be very tight. Bookings should be made as soon as possible. Market prices on the Bangladesh route will see a slight decrease in mid-to-late August. Textiles are prioritized, so please book as soon as possible. Additionally, cargo from Yiwu Suxi CCA is prioritized; please contact us individually.
Southeast Asia routes are currently focused on cargo demand next week. Indonesian prices are expected to increase by 25%/50% in the second half of the month. Australia and New Zealand routes are expected to see a slight increase in the second half of the month, but shipping space is tight. Yiwu-Suxi sea-rail routes are also being promoted. Anyone with cargo can apply for a rate.
Africa routes: East African freight rates remain largely unchanged, with some carriers experiencing slight reductions. Warehouse backlogs have eased slightly. Please verify shipments. South African freight rates remain stable, but warehouse backlogs are severe. West African freight rates continue to decline, but shipping space is relatively sufficient. Please actively contact us to request cargo. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
Latin America routes: South America, West Mexico, and Central America are experiencing limited shipping space, with significant delays. Prices are expected to remain the same or increase slightly. Caribbean prices may see a slight increase due to numerous blank sailings. Currently, shipping companies in East South America are experiencing less than ideal cargo acceptance, and prices will continue to decline. EMC and NOR freights are available for East South America, so please contact us actively. Please contact us with any requests. CCA shipping is recommended.
