Summary Of Tianjin Safround Logistics’s Route Trends In The Week 15

2025.04.09

1. The US-Canada route is strongly pushed up in April, but due to the weather in the first week of April, there are many late departures and large price fluctuations. If you have any questions, please feel free to communicate.

2.    For the Europe-Mediterranean route, the shipping space in early April is generally full and there are containers being dumped. The actual order needs to be booked as early as possible. From the 15th and 16th to the end of the month, except for the MSK Week 16 single-week price, the other shipping companies are currently pushing up a lot. If you need to apply for freight rates for multiple containers, you can wait. There are no empty flights on the European route in the second half of the month, and there are 2 ground routes. The European basic ports and Piraeus ports are still congested.

3.    In mid-April, the market freight rate in India is expected to be maintained. East India is in great demand for goods, and large bills can be applied, mainly for above goods. Karachi freight rates are expected to remain or rise slightly, and large bills should be booked as early as possible. In mid-April, the market freight rate on the Bangladesh route is basically maintained. At present, the space is still quite full. Textiles are given priority. Please book as early as possible.

4. The Middle East has some impact on shipments due to the Eid al-Fitr holiday. It is expected that the freight rate will remain the same next week. The Red Sea route has stable shipments recently. The direct ship/jea transit ship space is relatively tight, and the Indian transit ship space is relatively sufficient. The freight rate is expected to remain the same next week. If there are any problems, please communicate in time.

5. Due to the Songkran Festival holiday in Southeast Asia next week, the space will be relieved. In particular, there are signs of falling freight rates in Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia. The freight rates of other routes such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan and Japan are basically maintained, and the main demand is cargo. The space on the South Korea, Australia and New Zealand routes is currently tight, and there is still a plan to increase the price. Arrange as soon as possible if there is cargo.

6. In South America and West Mexico, the price is basically the same in mid-April, and some ships have low-priced space. There is sufficient space in some parts of the Caribbean, and cargo is received vigorously. East South America is still mainly for cargo, and the price is low, and the space can be met.

7. Africa route: Freight rates in East Africa have risen due to the large number of empty ships in the middle of the month and insufficient shipping capacity. If you have shipping plans in the middle and late part of the month, please arrange booking as soon as possible. The receiving situation in the South African market is not ideal, and the freight rate is expected to fall slightly in the middle of the month. West Africa’s freight rate has risen slightly due to large ships supporting Europe in the first half of the month. If large ships arrive in the middle and late part of the month, the freight rate will most likely remain the same.
