Karachi freight rates are expected to remain or rise slightly, and large bills should be booked as early as possible. In mid-April, the market freight rate on the Bangladesh route is basically maintained. At present, the space is still quite full. Textiles are given priority. Please book as early as possible.
4. The Middle East has some impact on shipments due to the Eid al-Fitr holiday. It is expected that the freight rate will remain the same next week. The Red Sea route has stable shipments recently. The direct ship/jea transit ship space is relatively tight, and the Indian transit ship space is relatively sufficient. The freight rate is expected to remain the same next week. 5. Due to the Songkran Festival holiday in Southeast Asia next week, the space will be relieved. In particular, there are signs of falling freight rates in Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia. The freight rates of other routes such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan and Japan are basically maintained, and the main demand is cargo. 7. Africa route: Freight rates in East Africa have risen due to the large number of empty ships in the middle of the month and insufficient shipping capacity. If you have shipping plans in the middle and late part of the month, please arrange booking as soon as possible. The receiving situation in the South African market is not ideal, and the freight rate is expected to fall slightly in the middle of the month. West Africa’s freight rate has risen slightly due to large ships supporting Europe in the first half of the month.
